If you read this at work, it's totally postmodern

AOL conducted a poll about how much time people waste at work, and found that the average worker wastes about 2 hours out of every 8-hour workday. Missouri, of course, rocked the house with a whopping 3.2 hours on average, making us the time-wastinest state in the union, while Illinois was #23 at 2.1 hours/day. MO almost made up for our smaller population and lower salaries in total salary wasted, wasting a whopping $28.7 billion, but IL won out with $30.2 billion.

California was #1 in total waste at $84.4 billion, while Rhode Island was the least wasteful, at only $805 million (only S. Carolina wasted slightly less time per day, but more overall).

The most common reason people gave for wasting time? Not enough work to do... sure, that's my excuse.

XOXO
